Sharing our home with guests has always reminded us that we live in a beautiful place which allows us to remain connected with nature. In the past years we have really understood the blessings of our outdoor lifestyle; be it, day trips, the open-air dining room, a refreshing swim in the creek that runs through our property, or simply relaxing in a hammock or deck chair in the many outdoor spaces. Our Belize Treehouses, Garden Cabins and Family Suites offer great value, and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere offers the perfect place to reflect on your day adventures. Share your experiences with fellow travelers over family-style meals cooked with the finest, locally sourced Belizean ingredients over our traditional wood-burning stove. Please note that we do not sell alcoholic beverages, but you are welcome to bring your own and we are happy to provide cold storage for them! We are happy to cater for your special dietary needs (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian etc,), but please let us know about them when you make your reservations. ❧

it permeates all our day-to-day tasks and is evident all around. For example, we use high-quality and as far as possible locally produced products. We make purified drinking water available for you in 5 Gallon dispensers throughout the lodge so you can top off your water bottles at any time, thus eliminating plastic waste from pre-bottled water. Electricity is provided by our own on-site solar system. It is our pleasure to educate you about our unique and complex eco-system, and to provide plenty of hands-on learning experiences during your stay and adventures with us! ❧

 

Jungle Eco Adventure Paradise

"First of all I want to thank Joe and Miriam to opening up their wonderful escape for us. This eco adventure hideaway is a gem located a short drive away from San Ignacio. Your adventure starts off with your drive to get there which although extremely bumpy adds to beauty once you arrive. Joe (the owner) actually picked us up from the airport and on the way stopped at Xunatunich (Maya ruins) and gave us a magnificent tour. If you don't want to drive in Belize which we chose not to do I would recommend contacting them to pick you up from the airport it was awesome to learn about the country from your very own guide on the way to and from our stay.

We stayed in the tree house for two nights. The property itself is beautiful. Miriam treated us to wonderful meals and the location offered us the ability to explore ATM and the property itself offers horseback riding, pontooning to waterfalls as well as another caving adventure. Please note that the tree house has 0 electricity and running water and you sleep under a mosquito net as the house is completely open air and actually, we really didn't even notice any bugs (January). There are candles in the tree house, and it is set over an unbelievable waterfall which offered natural air conditioning. We were lulled to sleep by the water and awoke to the sound of howler monkeys in the morning. We were lucky enough to even see a group of them.

The owners were great to chat with and provided us with a truly wonderful eco adventure experience in the interior of Belize. We hope to bring our kids back as it would be perfect for families with the friendly dogs, horses, and kitties! Thanks again Miriam and Joe!!
